About the role
We are looking for a Senior System Field Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize customer infrastructures, with a strong focus on Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms, Azure, Identity & Access Management, Windows Server technologies, and Security Architecture. The role includes end-to-end project ownership, from planning and risk management to coordination of teams and delivery, while working closely with Management, Sales, and Technical teams to translate customer needs into successful outcomes.
What you’ll do
Technical Delivery
- Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure, cloud, and security projects for enterprise customers.
- Architect and secure Azure environments (networking, identity, security, governance).
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including clustering, high availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Implement and manage Identity & Access Management solutions (Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM).
- Design secure hybrid and cloud architectures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Lead migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
- Contribute to solution design for new services and customer proposals.
- Act as technical project owner, coordinating project activities across engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Plan, track, and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Review project deliverables and technical implementations to ensure quality, security, and compliance with agreed requirements.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as senior technical point of contact for key customers.
- Participate in technical workshops, architecture discussions, and presales activities when needed.
- Translate business requirements into secure technical solutions.
What we’re looking for
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure/security roles.
- Proven experience designing and operating Microsoft-based environments (on-prem, hybrid, cloud).
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security)
- Identity & Access Management (Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC)
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
- Virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
- Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with security controls, hardening, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
Ideal Certification Requirements
Relevant Microsoft certifications in Infrastructure, Virtualization (Hyper-V), Cloud, Security, or Identity technologies will be considered a plus.
